Moët & Chandon, the champagne of success and glamour since 1743, is proud to be the exclusive champagne partner of the NZ Festival of Tennis including the ASB Classic and Heineken Open, set to take place from 30 December to 12 January 2014. Moët & Chandon has long been an active supporter of international tennis and has become an icon of victorious achievement in sports.
Moët & Chandon has also announced their new global brand ambassador Rodger Federer, the epitome of tennis excellence. Roger Federer, 17-time grand slam winner, holds a record 302 weeks at No.1, as well as an impressive five times as year-end No.1. “Tennis is loved around the world for its grand tradition of sportsmanship and you can’t get any better than Federer to show true sportsmanship,” says Rai Banbury, senior brand manager for Moët & Chandon. “As a proud partner we are also thrilled to announce that one of the world’s most accomplished tennis stars, Venus Williams, will join us here in New Zealand for the ASB Classic field.”
Moët & Chandon’s sports heritage is placed in a mutual appreciation for shared celebratory moments, the pursuit of success and quality and a taste for challenge. Victorious tennis champions around the world have celebrated their success with Moët & Chandon and it is an award itself for exceptional sports triumph.
