Gisborne, New Zealand
1 January 2013
A 30,000 strong crowd welcomed in 2013 on Waiohika Estate, with a world-class musical line-up across five stages. Dave Dobbyn, Six60, P-Money, The Presets, Benga, DJ Yoda, and more kept revelers dancing, with up to 3,000 remaining in front of the Vines Stage to watch the sun come up on the new year.
At midnight the fireworks were many times bigger and better than previous years, and fire dancers took to the stage while large LED light balls were thrown into the crowd.
Organisers were pleased with the chilled out and good natured festival-goers, and Police have had minimal trouble over the whole three day period of the festival.
Camping at Waiohika remains open today, giving people the opportunity to rest and relax before the journey home.
Rhythm and Vines would like to thank everyone who attended for making the tenth anniversary festival memorable.
