Spectacular sights at SKYCITY Auckland this Christmas
SKYCITY is bringing the magic of the festive season to Auckland this Christmas with something for everyone to enjoy including carol singers, a huge 11 metre tall Christmas tree on display, 90,000 Christmas lights across site and Santa up the Sky Tower.
Adding to the Christmas experience, the Sky Tower will light up green and red from Friday 30 November and special Christmas decorations will adorn every inch of SKYCITY including the atrium, restaurants, bars and the casino.
With more than 80 Christmas trees across site, several giant wreaths, an amazing Christmas village display, a giant snowman and tens of thousands of fairy lights, SKYCITY Auckland promises to be a festive season spectacle.
Children will have the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Santa up the Sky Tower, which is the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere and can post a letter with their Christmas wishes from Auckland’s highest letter box, 220 metres above the ground.
The well known Dragon’s Breath Singers will perform a mix of traditional carols and classic Christmas songs in the main SKYCITY atrium and the winning tree designs from SKYCITY’s ‘Create the Best Christmas Tree Ever’ competition will also be on display on Sky Deck from Saturday 8 December until Monday 24 December.
SKYCITY’s bars and restaurants will be abuzz with a range of special Christmas menus, casual dining options, intimate private dining and sophisticated cocktail parties. See www.skycityauckland.co.nz/Whats-On/Christmas-at-SKYCITY.html for all the specials and opening hours.
