Bollywood Diva Sunidhi Chauhan in Auckland for ONE SHOW ONLY

NIGHT ONLY, this Friday 23 June.
Believed to be one of the most versatile singers in today’s Indian Music Industry, Chauhan has been belting out songs
for Bollywood box-office hits for over a decade, lending her voice for most of the leading actresses in Bollywood
including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra. During this time she has also garnered innumerable accolades,
including being recognized as the Indian Industry’s Best Female Playback Singer at least eighteen times (having been
nominated over fifty times).
In addition to her continued successes in Bollywood, Chahuan has collaborated with pop-star Enrique Iglesias on his song
‘Heartbeat (India Mix)’ which featured on his album Euphoria (Special Indian Edition), making her the first Indian
female singer to collaborate internationally. She was also the only Indian artist asked to be a part of the Western
Union ‘World of Betters’ campaign in collaboration with international recording artists Alicia Keys, K’Naan, (John
Legend and Pitbull). The multi-faceted platform was designed to help raise awareness on the many ways we can impact on
individual’s life. Chauhan moved her money to disadvantaged girls of Mumbai to help them discover their inner beauty.
Concert promoter Dave said: “We’ve waited eight long years to have her back and I for one, cannot wait for Friday. She
is ‘it’ in Bollywood today as far as female playback singers go, and I love that I have the opportunity to promote the
best.”
For New Zealand fans, the wait is over. India’s original ‘Desi Girl’ finally returns to the city of sails to make her fans ‘shut up and bounce’ along to what will surely be a night to remember.
