Flying Nun Records takes over MySpace Music
We started NZ Music Month by launching the MySpace Choice Awards giving Kiwi’s the opportunity to vote for their favourite NZ artists across music and comedy, and as NZ Music Month nears it’s close we have given the keys to MySpace Music to Flying Nun Records.
See their showcase of Flying Nun artists old and new and a playlist put together by label head Roger Shepherd.
While you are at it check out all the other featured playlists based around NZ Music including one by Steve Newall of NZ Music Month, the Groove Guide and the cast from local show Go Girls.
Every month is NZ Music Month on MySpace with over 30,000 signed and unsigned NZ bands on the site, so go explore and listen to an album in full by some of the Kiwi artists on MySpace including the Mint Chicks or Ladyhawke or discover a new band you had not heard of before.
There is still time to get in your final votes for the MySpace Choice Awards . Voting closes on the 31st May and by voting everyone goes into the draw to win $500 cash, CD’s and a Flip HD Mino camera.
Happy NZ Music Month!
