SUPPORT NZ’S YOUTH THIS CHRISTMAS
Stuck on a gift idea this Christmas? The Foundation for Youth Development (FYD) has the answer with a gift that both recognises young artists and helps young people to reach their full potential.
FYD’s youth advisory group – Directionz – recently held a national competition for young people aged from five to 18 years to design a t-shirt or submit a photo depicting young people living their dreams.
Of the hundreds of entries received, 11 designs were chosen to be used on t-shirts. Designs range from a dinosaur through to a traditional Cook Islands design.
Grab yours now by going to www.fyd.org.nz. The t-shirts come in women, men and children sizes. All funds from t-shirt sales will go towards further developing FYD’s youth programmes – Kiwi Can, Stars, Project K and MYND.
