PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE PUBLICATION

Author Dies Without Doing "It" Once
The fictional author of the bestselling book "101 COOL THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU DIE", died tragically before completing the 101st activity on his inspirational list.
Author Roger Norman was killed on his way to attend a 24 hour movie marathon in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The bestselling (Amazon's Non-Fiction Quirky) author was attempting to complete the penultimate activity (Driving 24 hours Non-Stop) when his car hit a moose, killing both of them instantly (*).
The Annual 24 Hour V Movie Marathon [http://www.incrediblystrange.co.nz/marathon/intro/] returns for its ninth year and organiser Ant Timpson offers some helpful advice for adventurous New Zealanders, "Kiwis fearing they may die or get bored before completing all '101 COOL THINGS' are encouraged to start at the 101st cool thing (Movie Marathon) and work their way backwards to number one (Naked Skydiving)".
Dr Royce Carruthers from Miskatonic University supports the reversal of priorities, "My research shows that attending a 24 hour movie marathon at the beginning will make every other activity on the list appear easier and "cooler" as the young generation would say."
The 24 Hour 'V' Movie Marathon offers adventurous audiences a mix of Blockbuster Premieres alongside some diabolical exploitation films from the vault. Audience members who fall asleep are helpfully zapped with cattle prods to keep them alert.
The 24 Hour Movie Marathon is presented with V [http://www.bebo.com/republicofv] energy drink , the long-term supporter of all things filmy in New Zealand.
* = Killing a moose was number 62 on his list.
