* PRESS RELEASE *
McCahon House Residency Painters and Photographers
The McCahon House Trust is now receiving applications from painters and photographers who wish to take up a three-month residency between March 2009 and March 2010.
This fabulous opportunity is available to New Zealanders or New Zealand residents who have already received critical acclaim and who are committed to a career as a professional artist.
Selected artists will live in a purpose built, award winning two-bedroom house with attached studio set high above the Titirangi bush next to the restored McCahon cottage. While there they will receive a stipend, administrative support and have a chance to exhibit their work at nearby Lopdell House Gallery at the conclusion of the residency.
Applications close on 30 September 2008. Visit www.mccahonhouse.org.nz for an application form and further information.
