Auckland Gig Guide Mukuna Teams Up with New Zealand Music Commission.
Auckland gig guide Mukuna is working with NZ Music Month to help publicise gig listings during May 2008.
Mukuna is providing back-end support for all gig listings on the official website of NZ Music Month
(nzmusicmonth.co.nz). All gig listing sent to the NZ Music Commission are input to the Mukuna syndication system, and
then fed via XML to nzmusicmonth.co.nz, mukuna.co.nz, and to third party websites, widgets, and publications, thereby
increasing distribution.
Gig listings in several cities will also be available by return SMS text message. Users can text NZMM + the first four
letters of the city name to 5477 to find New Zealand Music Month gigs in the following cities:
To find Auckland gigs text NZMM AUCK to 5477.
To find Wellington gigs text NZMM WELL to 5477.
To find Christchurch gigs text NZMM CHRI to 5477.
To find Queenstown gigs text NZMM QUEE to 5477.
To find Dunedin gigs text NZMM DUNE to 5477.

Texts cost twenty cents and users will never be spammed. The Mukuna SMS service is a pull service, not push, which means
there is no sign up process, no subscription, and users are sent texts only in response to their queries.
