‘V’ takes free Block Party to Wellington featuring US sensations The Plain White T’s!
Everyone loves a sequel and The People’s Republic of ‘V’ are excited to announce a second FREE ‘V’ Block Party headlined
by power pop sensations The Plain White T’s.
Following hot on the heels of the successful ‘V’ Block Party held in Britomart Square, Auckland in December, ‘V’ are
doing it again. This time the free outdoor event will be held at Waitangi Park in central Wellington on Monday 25th
February starting at 7.00pm.
The Plain White T’s hail from Chicago and were recently nominated for two Grammy Awards and had enormous success with
their number one hit “Hey There Delilah”. The song won a Teen Choice Award in 2007 and reached number one in the charts
in the US, Canada and Germany.
This will be the bands first trip to New Zealand and they are really excited to play a FREE concert in the nations
Capital. This is going to be one MASSIVE party in the streets
