BodyFX presents:
Floating Fashion without the clothes
It’s all about fashion but …in a very unique way on Sunday 18 February at Wellingtons’ waterfront.
BodyFX is preparing the most extravagant fashion show ever, with models just wearing a g-string and a thin layer of paint.
This fascinating fashion show will be held during an evening cocktail cruise on the Wellesley Cruise ship.
Top Fashion designers like “Annah S“ from New Zealand submitted special designs and garments to be transformed in body art by Wellingtons’ BodyFX artists.
The work in progress during the day is accessible for public between 12noon and 4 pm.
People are allowed to have a sneak preview for a donation.
At 7.30 pm the ship will leave the dock for a 2 hour cruise through the harbour.
Life music, cocktails, snacks and hopefully a fantastic sunset will form the ambiance for this unique fashion show.
Around 12 body art models will present their designs together with their original fashion garments.
After the show it is possible to meet with the models, artists and designers.
Don’t miss out on this one time event and book your ticket at the Wellesley for $55
For people not able to take the cruise there will be a “dress” rehearsal dock show at 5.30pm where all the body art will be presented in a half hour show, admission $15
Come along.. get yourself a drink, relax on the decks and enjoy this creative outburst of fun fashion…..
But although you might picture yourself in one of the designs..
sorry..
the painted outfits are not for sale!
