Ticket sales nearing 33,000
With less than 2 weeks o concert date on December 6, close to 33,000 seats have been sold with non-Wellingtonians now hurrying to buy the remainder. Promoter Capital C: Concerts have been delighted at the wide age range of those booking and the huge amount of mail and email received from people just happy that Elton has decided to visit the city. Booking agents Ticketek are gearing up to handle the last rush period and the event has been attracting the corporate ‘ Christmas Party’ market as well as people gifting tickets as early Christmas presents.
