Spike Milligan and The Who on The Big Screen
A selection of five films including The Life and Legacy of Spike Milligan -Goon and funny man and Youthquake -about 60's trendsetters in the UK with footage of bands like The Who feature in a mini -film festival at Expressions Arts and Entertainment Centre in Upper Hutt this Thursday and Friday .City Promotion Manager Paul Lambert says it is very fitting to have a premiere showing of the Spike Milligan movie in the Wellington region considering Milligan had a very good friend Harry Edgington living here.
Also featured on Friday is Lomax the Songhunter about Alan Lomax ,the dedicated collector of Blues and Roots music who discovered many talented singers and songwriters during his journeys.
