NZ Open Sumo Champs, PowerPlay hits Lower Hutt

The NZ Open Sumo Championship 2006 and the NZWPW PowerPlay 3 hits Lower Hutt Town Hall on Good Friday, 14th April, 2006.
The Sumo Championship will be starting at 4PM, and features teams from the United States of America, Australia, and New Zealand. Youth from St. Bernard's College and South Auckland will be competing for the right to travel to Estonia for the World Junior Championships. In the Senior division, the winners will travel to Osaka, Japan in October.
The Pro-wrestling will be following on at 6PM, and in just two of the matches on the card, the NZ Heavyweight Champion JUICE will put his title on the line against the challenger D-HOYA, and Adam Avalanche (the One-man Natural Disaster, who destroyed the floor at Otaki at St. Patrick's Day BASH) will take on Jimmy Sparx and C.D. in a Handicap Match (2 on 1). The doors will be opening at 3:30PM, so come early to get the best seats. One ticket covers both great shows on the one day. Tickets are available on the door, or pre-sales are available from He Toa Gym, North Street, Petone (Near the Ava Railway station) - phone 04 939 2503. Tickets are $15 for Teens & Adults, and $10 for Children 12 and under.
