Big Wednesday Jackpots - $250,000 American Express Platinum Card Added to $2 Million and Other Prizes on Offer
Big Wednesday has jackpotted, with an American Express Platinum card loaded up with $250,000 added to $2 million and other prizes on offer next week, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Trevor Hall said tonight.
"Because Big Wednesday Division One has jackpotted, a common occurrence with games of this type, we will be able to offer players an even bigger overall prize next week," says Mr Hall.
At the next draw, on 1 March 2006, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $2 million;
- Porsche 911 Carrera;
- Range Rover Vogue V8;
- $50,000 worth of luxury travel every year for five years;
- $250,000 American Express Platinum card
-
"Just like Powerball, Big Wednesday could go at anytime, and we look forward to turning more of our players into Big Wednesday winners soon," says Mr Hall.
Just two weeks ago the Big Wednesday draw, resulted in NZ Lotteries giving away its third largest individual prize, with the winner picking up over $13 million in cash and luxury prizes, as a result of winning Big Wednesday First and Second Division.
"It has been a very exciting few weeks with our first big winner claiming their prize. While Big Wednesday was not won again tonight, we can not wait to do it all over again and give away the ultimate lifestyle to a second player," says Mr Hall.
Although the big prize was not won tonight, there were a total of 53,327 winners from the draw.
A ticket sold at Westown Lotto in New Plymouth won Big Wednesday's serial number draw, open to all tickets bought for tonight's draw. The ticket holder has a won prize of $25,000
The winning serial number is 176-29738500-13XX
"Anyone who bought their ticket from this store should check it immediately," Mr Hall says.
NOTE
Big Wednesday is a jackpotting game. The 1st Division prize jackpots each week the 1st Division is not won. The First Division prize pool will always start with a minimum of $2 million plus luxury cars. If it is not won, the jackpot will rollover to the next week and another luxury prize will be added.
A luxury prize will be added to the jackpot each week for the first four weeks if the top prize is not won. After that the cash component of the top prize will start to increase but no more luxury prizes will be added.
