Autumn Stone Scoop "Best Animated Music Video" @ Handle the Jandal

Please accept my apology for the blanket email. I hope you understand that there are alot of people to communicate with
after last nights Handle the Jandal Music Video Awards.
Autumn Stone were selected for Wellington Music Industry Showcase that is happening on November 24 and 25 so it was
great to have further evidence that the band are doing the right things!
Blain Hosford was Highly Commended as a (music video) director and won the Jandal for Best Animated Music Video. The
judges also reiterated that Blain was someone to watch and that they wanted to see what Blain did in the future.
Blain worked long hours to create the animated music video "Payload" which has received good coverage on music
television. The first impression of "Payload" is a simple linear but further viewing reveals a number of complexities
including interesting use of camera and detailed characters.
What sets Autumn Stone apart from other bands in New Zealand is how music and visuals are integrated in their live show.
The band perform on stage to perfectly synchronised visuals which is unique!
Autumn Stone are about to embark on their second South Island tour this year and have shows booked in Auckland and
Wellington through to the new year. I am currently booking the band for shows in Auckland and new opportunites in
festivals and television.
