InterCity will Add Extra Service for the Christchurch Test Match
InterCity will run services as needed to carry passengers from Dunedin and regional rural centres to the Lions / All Blacks Test Match at Jade Stadium in Christchurch next Saturday - 25 June.
The match day service from Dunedin to Christchurch departs at 7.45am and arrives at 1.45pm -in good time for the 7.10pm kick off! The Full Fare is $43 and the Saver Fare is $32 one way.
“We will happily add as many extra services as necessary to make sure fans get to and from the game on time” said Daniel Rode, Sales & Marketing Manager for the InterCity Group. “We added extra services to Dunedin last Saturday for the Otago / Lions game and had previously added extra services to Hamilton and Rotorua for the matches there.” added Rode.
Other services next Saturday are from Timaru 11.20am arriving at 1.45pm Full Fare $28 - Saver $21. From Oamaru 9.30am - 1.45pm Full $34 - Saver $26. From Queenstown 9.40am - 5.30pm Full $61 - Saver $46. From Kaikoura 1.25pm - 4.05pm Full $25 - Saver $10. From Picton 10.45am - 4.05pm Full $48 - Saver $10. The return services operate at various times on Sunday 26 June at similar rates.
The daily service from Invercargill departs: 8.45am and arrives in Christchurch 6.40pm on Friday (and Saturday). The Full Fare is $64.
