Five Lucky Lotto Players Win $5,000 A Week For All Of 2005
Five lucky Lotto players from all over New Zealand have had a thrilling start to the New Year, winning $5,000 a week for all of 2005, Acting Chief Executive Quinton Hall said today. The winning locations and voucher numbers are:

"It's the time of year when most people clear the decks, set some goals and dream about what they'd like to do over the next 12 months.
"Having an extra $5,000 in your pocket every week will definitely help make some of those dreams come true and that's what five lucky players will have to play with in 2005," he says.
"Our players love the chance to win big prizes whether it's Lotto Powerball, First Division or winning extra prizes such as these ones through our Triple Dip promotions," says Mr Hall.
Entry into the Lotto New Year promotion was through purchasing a Lotto Triple Dip ticket between December 26 and 7pm on Saturday 1 January.
All Lotto Triple Dip players who bought tickets during this time need to check their vouchers to see if they have won.
"Lots of players are out of town on holiday at this time of year, and we'd hate to think that someone misses out because they were out of their routine and didn't check their ticket.
"We'd suggest that all of our voucher holders pop into their nearest Lotto store and get that ticket checked. We've got 700 Lotto outlets spread throughout the country so most customers should be able to find one nearby," says Mr Hall.
