Single day and evening tickets have been released for WOMAD New Zealand 2005, taking place in Taranaki from 11-13 March at New Plymouth’s Brooklands Park and TSB Bowl.

“We’re thrilled with the response for WOMAD with thousands of New Zealanders taking up the pre-Christmas discount offer. Our pre Christmas sales this year, compared to the 2003 event, have almost tripled,” festival director Roger King says.

Further international and New Zealand acts will be announced on January 13.
“The second announcement includes six well-known New Zealand performers together with some fantastic international music and visual arts acts.”
