Get Crafty this Waitangi Day!
If you’ve always wanted to ‘have a go’ at creating your own art or craft there’s a free event for your family this Waitangi Day.
Get Crafty is an annual art and craft event at Avice Hill Reserve (395 Memorial Avenue), which runs between 11 am and 3 pm on Friday 6 February.
Start your morning at 11 am with a walk through local woodlands, and then view the latest fads in art and crafts as well as some of the more traditional crafty past times.
Children will have plenty to see and do at Get Crafty with free workshops in kite and card making to satisfy their artistic talents, whilst family members are browsing the many exciting arts, crafts and food stalls the event will offer.
So make Get Crafty your family outing this Waitangi Day and come along and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of Avice Hill Reserve.
