There are still some spaces available in The York Street Studios Acid Test, but they are filling fast, so, if you're thinking about entering, please put your entry in as soon as possible.

With over $15,000 worth of prizes, the competition is a fantastic chance for musicians to not only take advantage of these prizes, but also; the exposure, industry networking, career development and other great opportunities this competition affords.
Unique for music competitions because only original material is permitted, any genre and lineup is welcome and whilst there is a heavy focus on performance and songwriting, there is also a strong emphasis on professionalism, marketing and promotion, business planning, industry knowledge and commercial radio potential.
* There will be 12 heats of 6 performers. Heats will be held Thursdays and Sundays 17 July to 24 August at 7pm. * There will be 4 semi-finals. These will be held Saturdays and Sundays 6 September to 14 September at 7pm. * 6 finalists will be chosen from the semi-finalists. The finalists will be chosen at the end of all the semis and announced on 14 September. * The GRAND final will be held on Saturday 27 September at 8pm.
