16th Wellington Fringe Film Festival Call for Entries
Calling all filmmakers!
Want to see your short film on the big screen? Well now is your chance. The Wellington Fringe Film Festival invites you
to submit your short film for the 16th annual Festival on the 14th -17th of July at The Paramount Theatre.
All short films will be accepted, but must be received by 23rd of May. Please note, due to the growing popularity of the
event all drama, experimental and animation films must be no longer than 15 minutes in duration and a 30 minute limit
exists for documentaries.
If you would like to make a film especially for the Festival please enter the Special Competition. Simply make a film no
longer than 3 minutes (including credits) which contains a reference to "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly". We're looking
for originality and innovation within this theme. Entry period closes on June 6. Get your creative juices flowing and
get filming!

The Wellington Fringe Film Festival provides the means for filmmakers to screen their short films in a supportive,
informative and non-competitive environment.
With considerable support from experts and the New Zealand film industry, a strong emphasis is placed on developing the
skills and knowledge of emerging directors.
