Bring your national flag
Wear your national costume
Bring your music & songs
Hands up for people of every race & place
Bring banners with messages to celebrate our diversity
EVERYONE WELCOME
To join the Parade:
10.30am: Starts at Justice Park (bottom of Lambton Quay), journeys along Lambton Quay into Willis St
11am: Welcomed into Civic Square
11.15am: Speeches by Luamanuvao Winnie Laban (MP), Gregory Fortuin (Race Relations Commissioner), Alick Shaw (Deputy Mayor), & others, plus entertainment from a variety of musical groups (La Orchesta Salvaje playing Salsa grooves!)
An International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination event proudly co-sponsored by the Wellington City Council Community Services, and the Human Rights Commission incorporating Race Relations
