NZ broadcasting forum features on regional television
A forum discussing the future of New Zealand broadcasting will screen on regional television stations around the country.
The forum will screen on Auckland's Triangle Television at 8.30pm Monday 31st July.
Organised by Unitec's School of Communication, the main focus of the forum is the future of public broadcasting in NZ in relation to the present government's broadcasting policy.
Panellists participating in the forum are: Marian Hobbs, Minister for Broadcasting Paul Smith, TVNZ board member and former media commentator Trevor Moeke, Te Mangai Paho CEO Ed Mason, UNITEC lecturer in communication Joe Atkinson, University of Auckland lecturer in Political Studies
The one-hour programme will also screen on Dunedin's Channel 9, Wellington's Channel 7 and Christchurch's CATV.
