THE EMBASSY OF ITALY LAUNCHES NEW WEB SITE
The Embassy of Italy in Wellington announces the launching of a web site [ italy-embassy.org.nz ].
This new service - largley bilingual - is targeted both at Italians interested in New Zeland and to expanding relations between the two countries, and to New Zealanders approaching Italy; it also provides information on the recent developments in various fields.
From politics to trade, from art to travel, the site - along with its links - aims to help the further understanding and fiendship between Italy and New Zealand and at the same time to provide a more efficient service to the public: the consular and visa section contains all the basic information necessary and will be progressively inter-actice.
The technical support for the realisation of the site was given by Massimo Giurioli of "Graphic Solutions" and the architecture of the home page is by Amanda Hurren with the art support from Yukai Nagataka.
The site will be offically opened by the Ambassador of Italy, Roberto Palmieri, on Wednesday 19 April at 5 p.m, at Minolta House, 182 Vivian Street, Wellington and will be operational - although largely open to improvements - from the same date.
