Ground Breaking Real Estate Site Turns One
29 March 2019 – OneRoof.co.nz is today celebrating its first birthday. In the year since the property listing platform was launched by media
publisher NZME, it has cemented itself in the market place and become a powerful tool for real estate buyers and sellers
in New Zealand.
"OneRoof's material advantage over other listing sites is its deep understanding of Kiwis’ property needs and their need
for convenience and simplicity," says Laura Maxwell, Chief Digital Officer for NZME.
"OneRoof holds in one place the data, insights and search tools that will help Kiwis make informed property decisions.
The intuitive digital tools and in-depth insights provided on the site make searching for property an easy customer
experience."
Since its debut, OneRoof has grown in popularity. It has recorded more than 4 million unique browsers in its first year,
hosted more than 97,000 listings on OneRoof and enjoyed more than 74,000 downloads of the OneRoof app.
Maxwell says the growth and performance of the site has been exciting.
“We have thousands of listings from New Zealand’s top real estate agencies and in-depth property information and market
leading data. We are immensely proud of the product we have created, and we very are excited about what’s to come,” she
says.
Maxwell adds: “Thank you to the Kiwis who have used the site and shared their overwhelmingly positive feedback. We are
the one stop shop when it comes to looking for your dream home thanks to your support. The outstanding performance of
OneRoof shows there was a real need in the market for an all-inclusive hub that brought together listings, information,
news and advice into one place.”
Powered by NZME, OneRoof boasts strong editorial credentials, a dedicated editorial team and the radio and digital
platforms in the NZME power house. This ensures OneRoof is connecting with people at various stages of their property
journey from their first home though to growing their portfolio.
The OneRoof radio show each Saturday on Newstalk ZB and the podcast on iHeart Radio is a further way for people to stay
up to date on what is trending in the real estate market.
