The Loop Duty Free New Zealand has made one lucky traveller’s decade-long dream a reality, when she won their coveted ‘Win a Harley-Davidson’ competition.
Aucklander, Victoria Silwood, rode away on a Harley-Davidson Street 500 motorcycle valued at $11,710.
Victoria won the incredible motorcycle simply by spending over $100 in-store, which put her into a draw for the Harley-Davidson competition, which ran at The Loop Duty Free New Zealand from Nov-Dec. She made her winning purchase after a holiday in Brisbane.
Victoria Silwood was overwhelmed by her good luck; “I still can’t quite believe that we have won an actual Harley-Davidson! My husband, Matt, and I almost purchased a Harley ten years ago, so this has always been a life-long dream for us. This is so exciting. Thank you so much to the Loop Duty Free.”
Throughout the competition, an actual Harley-Davidson Street 500 motorcycle was showcased in the Loop Duty Free Departures store at Auckland International Airport, much to the delight of passing customers.
Tom Byrne, General Manager, the Loop Duty Free, New Zealand says: “The Loop Duty Free New Zealand prides itself on creativity and creating experiences for travellers while they shop. Providing the chance for customers to not only see, but to be in with a chance to win an iconic Harley-Davidson created huge buzz throughout our store. It was a true showstopper.
“Congratulations to Victoria and Matt. We are thrilled that this prize went to such a deserving winner.”
