A350 Aircraft Launched with Premium Economy Fares

PAL TO INTRODUCE A350 AIRCRAFT TO LONDON/HEATHROW
and
OFFERS INTRODUCTORY PREMIUM ECONOMY CLASS FARES
Effective 28 October 2018, Philippine Airlines will be introducing their new Airbus A350 aircraft on the daily non-stop service between Manila and London/Heathrow. New non-stop service between Manila and New York/JFK will be launched on 29 October. The A350 aircraft will be offering a three-class cabin with Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class seats similar to those already installed on the recently refurbished A330 aircraft that fly between Auckland and Manila.
The first A350 aircraft was delivered to PAL on the 15 July 2018 with another 3 aircraft due to be delivered before the end of the year. Further deliveries are scheduled for 2019.
The schedule between Manila and London/Heathrow will remain the same, continuing to offer convenient connections between the Auckland and London/Heathrow in both directions.
The Premium Economy cabin is new to the London route with the change to the A350. Premium Economy was recently added to the Auckland route and a special introductory offer is now available to London
PREMIUM ECONOMY CLASS - INTRODUCTORY AIRFARE OFFER
A special introductory Premium Economy airfare from Auckland to London of NZD3439 return (includes applicable taxes) is now available for departures 28 October to 30 November 2018 and 16 January to 31 March 2019. For travel over the peak Christmas period the fare will be a very competitive NZD4289 return all inclusive. Tickets must be purchased by 15 August 2018.
Philippine Airlines Premium Economy Class offers an exclusive cabin of just 24 seats and features a wider seat in a 2-3-2 configuration with a generous 38 inch pitch and an 8 inch recline. The seats are equipped with both a leg rest and foot rest as well as a 13.3 inch touch screen personal TV. On-board WIFI is available, free for the first 15 minutes (up to 5MB) or USD20 (with a maximum of 150mb) for the entire flight.
Passengers enjoy enhanced meal options and also receive their own inflight amenity kit. The Premium Economy Class cabin includes a dedicated toilet for passenger’s convenience. A special check-in counter is provided at the airport for Premium Economy Class passengers to help speed them through the airport to the aircraft.
