Trustees Executors Limited Appoint New CEO
Trustees Executors Limited is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Chief Executive Ryan Bessemer, replacing Executive Director Rob Russell.
Mr Bessemer joins Trustees Executors Limited following six years as COO of Equity Trustees – one of Australia’s largest independent Trustee companies. He has held the position of CIO for three ASX listed businesses, and is an executive with over 24 years experience in Financial Services, Technology and Professional Services. Mr Bessemer is also a graduate of Harvard Business School.
“I am enthusiastic about the joining Trustees Executors and leading the growth of such an iconic New Zealand brand,” Mr Bessemer said. “My immediate goal is to focus on enhancing our service offering to clients via business process improvement and technology innovation. I am proud to be part of this strong organisation and believe that we will continue to make Trustees Executors an even stronger contender in the financial services marketplace.”
Trustees Executors Limited is grateful to Rob Russell, who in his capacity as Executive Director was responsible for many of the duties now transferred to the Chief Executive.
Mr Russell joined the Board as Executive Director in May 2013, having previously held the roles of CFO and Corporate Services Manager. During his 11-year tenure as Executive Director, Mr Russell was responsible for the strategic, operational and financial management of the company, achieving sustained growth in a rapidly changing industry and successfully driving continued improvements across the company’s major business lines.
The Trustees Executors shareholder representative Mr John Grace and the Board of Directors thank Mr Russell for his loyal and valued contribution to the company and wish him well.
