Statistics NZ's website has been partially restored, following the 7.8 earthquake on 14 November 2016.
Statistics NZ resumed data releases from Monday, 21 November.
Infoshare now available
Infoshare is now available following Wednesday's outage.
From Friday 9 December the Infoshare data service for new data releases is restored for all non-trade data.
Infoshare data for 8 December National Accounts releases will be available by early next week.

Other releases
Overseas Merchandise Trade: October 2016 – modified release issued 25 November 2016.
See Overseas merchandise trade datasets for provisional HS10 by country data for the October, September, and August months, and final data for July 2016. Annual datasets are also now available.
Economic growth figures out by Christmas
Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Balance of Payments (BOP) for the September quarter 2016, will both be published on 22 December.

Delayed releases
We apologise for the delay in publishing some of our scheduled releases, and regret any inconvenience caused. We have not lost any data but a number of our systems need to be brought back up to restore all our services.

IDI
The IDI, other microdata, and all research projects have been successfully backed up. We aim to have access restored by 12 December.
Due to the impacts of the 14 November earthquake we will not be refreshing the IDI for the December 2016 quarter. Any regular data updates that were scheduled for the December quarter refresh will be rolled into the following IDI refresh – March 2017 quarter.
