There will be more than just tools and products on show at the CONZTRUCT Trade Show Tour when it opens at Auckland’s ASB
Showgrounds on May 3.
CONZTRUCT is New Zealand’s leading construction trade show travelling through 18 locations throughout New Zealand. Each
event is designed to help educate and assist with the on-going development for professionals in the building and
construction industry.
More than 4,000 builders, plumbers, electricians, architects and designers and other industry professionals will attend
the events throughout the country.
With trade exhibits, products and services on display, expert speakers, even a couple of lifestyle and special interest
features, CONZTRUCT comes at just the right time for the tradespeople and contractors of New Zealand.
“With building and construction activity firmly in the media spotlight, it is more important than ever that tradespeople
are aware of the options open to them and the responsibilities they face,” says Ian Watt, General Manager of organising
company Construction Marketing Services.
“CONZTRUCT is all about professional development, finding the right products and the right application for the project,
learning of better ways to do things and above all, how to run a business successfully and profitably,” he added.
The CONZTRUCT Trade Show Tour will be visiting all major centres in the country, bringing a vibrant, busy team of
exhibitors and demonstrators with it, covering residential, commercial and industrial construction.
CONZTRUCT is also focused on creating a vibrant environment for guests with interactive activities.
Special guest at the May 3rd and 4th events is New Zealand V8 motor racing champion Simon Evans bringing the SMEG RACING
V8 and driving simulators, giving visitors the change to beat his lap time and win a prize.
Guests are also invited to bring a handful of Lego pieces to take part in the build of a giant tradesperson, with funds
from the creation going to Canteen. The project will be built progressively throughout the country and auctioned in
December with proceeds to help support young people facing cancer throughout New Zealand.
All that, plus sampling, spot prizes and a chance to win one of three trips to international sporting events will make
CONZTRUCT the must-see event for the entire New Zealand building and construction industry.
