Local Website Design Company, Kiwi Website Design, announces growth and expansion plans
A local website design company has announced expansion plans because of continued growth in the NZ market. Kiwi Website Design provides website development, e commerce solutions, and graphic design services to businesses across New Zealand.
The company's growth means it now plans to hire more staff, so it is moving to larger offices in April. The new prestigious office is in Axis Building in Parnell in Auckland and will give Kiwi Website Design a solid base for its ambitious expansion plans for the future.
Omar Hyatt, director and head developer at Kiwi Website Design, said this is an exciting time for the company.
He said: "Our passion is delivering website solutions that look great, but that also work for our clients. We develop long term partnerships, and we are very excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Kiwi Website Design was launched in 2011 and it is 100 percent New Zealand owned and operated. Over its five year history it has built up a portfolio of clients that now numbers well over 300. The clients are mostly New Zealand-based SMEs from a range of industries, and there is a mixture of established brands along with young, exciting new companies.
Omar said that despite the success the company has had so far, it is a growing market.
"Use of the internet is growing in New Zealand. Figures released recently showed that half of us buy products on the internet at least once a month. In December 2015, online spending in the country was up 13 percent on the previous year, which out-paces growth in physical stores three-to-one.
“What I also thought was interesting were the figures that showed where people are shopping online. One in five of us only ever buy online from New Zealand-based businesses. That sort of Kiwi loyalty is what makes this country great, but it also shows the potential of online for local businesses.”
Omar also highlighted other sectors which he thinks have the potential to benefit from online.
He said: "Now while the e commerce figures are impressive, I actually think they only tell part of the online story. For example, the figures only apply to e commerce sales, but we are also seeing huge growth in online lead capture for our clients. This demonstrates the potential of the internet for all types of business, whether you are a retailer who can sell products through your online store, a building company looking for the phone to ring for quotes, or a financial services company looking to pick up sales leads."
Kiwi Website Design helps businesses develop their online marketing strategy through a number of different services. This includes website design and development, brand creation, and digital marketing.
"These are exciting and positive times for the New Zealand economy, for the website design industry, and for SMEs looking to increase their profitability through online channels," Omar said. "It has been a privilege to work with the hundreds of clients in our portfolio so far, and we look forward to building new relationships and creating new partnerships in the future."
