Christchurch Turns On Another Stunner
Great weather and great crowds, that’s how organisers of the Camper Care NZ Motorhome & Caravan show have summed up another massive weekend for lifestyler’s in Christchurch.
Just under 10,000 visitors poured through the gates at Horncastle Arena for the show over the weekend, which this year celebrated its 8th anniversary.
All the latest and greatest in Motorhomes were on display, with a number of exhibitors choosing to release their new products at the show. The show saw the return of another crowd pleaser being the return of the ‘Walk Down Memory Lane’ , introduced for the first time last year, and showcasing a range of pre-70’s classic caravans.
Highlights included recent Masterchef NZ 2014 contestants’ - mother & daughter combination - Nikki & Jordan Shearer, who were a real draw card at their cooking classes. Another show stopper was the Fire Brigade showing a real life situation of how fast unattended cooking ignites, and subsequently how to extinguish it.
Event Director, Michele Connell says “The majority of exhibitors at the show enjoyed great sales, which just shows that Christchurch is really on the rebound with more and more people excited to be entering the lifestyle market.”
