PRESS RELEASE
5th November 2014
A Cambodian Partnership
Following on from a successful Kickstarter campaign, the ReCreate Store team have just returned from Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Back home in New Zealand, they reflect on their South East Asian adventure. Theirs was a trip with a purpose - meeting with the production team of their ethical clothing range. These high quality, design focused garments are made in a sewing training centre that ReCreate Store helped to establish in October 2013.
The centre employs 5 local women. Empowering them to provide for their families with fair wages, a healthy work environment and matched savings. By partnering with a well established organisation in setting up the centre, ReCreate Store are embracing a sustainable mutually beneficial model.
During their visit, the team worked on finalising the Kickstarter campaign rewards in preparation for distribution and working towards the ReCreate Store launch. Their webstore will be the ‘go to’ for all things quality designed and ethically produced. Along with their clothing line, ReCreate have sourced a selection of beautiful products from other ethical producers around the globe.
Be part of creating positive change. Check out ReCreate’s online store launching 17th November 2014, www.recreatestore.co.nz
