World Association of Detectives Conference in Auckland

World Association of Detectives will be celebrating its 89th Annual Conference in Auckland New Zealand
(PR.co.nz) The World Association of Detectives will be celebrating its 89th Annual Conference in Auckland New Zealand. The conference will be held at the Sky City Convention Centre and speakers include Dr Jarod Gilbert an authority on criminal gangs in New Zealand, journalist and author David Fisher named best reporter at the Canon Media Awards 2013 for a portfolio of investigations, including the revelations of air force failures following the fatal Anzac Day Iroquois crash and will speak about learnings from his investigative articles.
Also speaking will be a world renowned anti terrorism expert Brigadier General (retired) Rashid Malik and cyber terrorism expert Dr Allan Watt and cyber crime forensic expert Michael Roberts who has worked alongside the FBI using cyber techniques to capture fugitives.
New Zealand Ambassador to the World Association of Detectives Daniel Toresen says:
"Some of the most respected private detectives and security consultants from around the globe will gather in Auckland to share information and learn about new investigative techniques.
The WAD have chosen New Zealand for the venue of the conference for the first time in its 90 year history and as a proud kiwi it will be exciting to share our wonderful country with them."
The World Association of Detectives (W.A.D.) was founded in 1925. It is the International Association for Private Investigators and Security Service Organizations. The World Association of Detectives was formed as a joint venture by the combined membership of the World Association of Detectives and the International Secret Service Association. It is the oldest international association in its field. There are over 900 members in more than 70 countries.
The current chairman is Fernando Molina of Mexico.
