ENEX expands New Plymouth expo - June 2015
ENEX - New Zealand’s biennial Oil & Gas Expo is returning to New Plymouth for the third time in 2015. Now owned solely by Conferenz Ltd, ENEX will bring together over 100 exhibitors to showcase the latest technology and capability that underpins NZ’s oil and gas future.
Since its inception in 2011, ENEX has gone from strength to strength and is now recognised as NZ’s “hard hat” industry event of choice.
The Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment recently highlighted the government’s intention to again encourage an increase in New Zealand’s overall exports and utilise the country’s natural resources. Oil and Gas exploration and development spending was up 7% last year to almost $1.6 billion, according to the latest official figures which also show a big jump in gas reserves. Gas reserves were revised up 31% from 2012, now the highest in 13 years.
Conferenz will continue to ensure ENEX provides the event to showcase the industry supply side’s abilities to meet the operational demands of the future.
Exciting developments in the works for ENEX next year include:
• Expanded showfloor footprint, allowing a greater number of exhibitors
• Creation of new outdoor showcase areas, including dedicated areas for heavy equipment
• Expert speaker lineup for the expo showfloor stages
• Introducing new conferences for senior industry executives
• New low price expo pass
"ENEX was established and built as a partnership between Contrafed Publishing and Conferenz, and is now a major event for the industry,” says Kevin Lawrence, the General Manager for Contrafed. “We take confidence in watching ENEX evolve into its next stage of growth with Conferenz".
The upcoming ENEX will take place on 24 & 25 June 2015 at TSB Stadium, New Plymouth
