Corporate Traveller is pleased to announce Amy Clarke as the winner of the inaugural ‘New Zealand’s Office Manager of the Year’ promotion, from Vinyl Source in Christchurch.
Angie Forsyth, brand leader of Corporate Traveller, says that it is fantastic to recognise the office experts around the country because they are often the employees who fly under the radar.
“The team at Corporate Traveller understands how important office managers are and we really wanted to recognise and reward these experts who consistently excel at supporting their company and are often the unsung heroes in the workplace.
“Amy stood out for her commitment to outstanding service and the in-depth understanding that she has of her business. There were some great parallels between her approach to her business and the approach that we take here at Corporate Traveller.”
Amy was nominated by Simon Hadfield, the managing director of Vinyl Source, who says that Amy goes above and beyond on a daily basis.
“Amy has worked diligently and honestly with me for 11 years and often puts the company first. As an employer, to have an employee who views the company as their own is probably the best qualification that one could ask for,” Mr Hadfield said.
As the winner of Corporate Traveller’s Office Manager of the Year, Amy has won a trip for two to Hawaii including return airfares and six nights accommodation. She was the winning application out of almost 800 nominations nationwide. Simon was also the recipient of a $500 Corporate Traveller voucher for entering the winning nomination.
