Balance Accounting to join Moore Stephens Markhams Christchurch
Two Christchurch-centric accounting firms will join forces at the start of December.
Balance Accounting will merge with iconic stalwart practice Moore Stephens Markhams effective on Monday, 2 December.
Balance Accounting Founder and Director Nicole Hague, who is joining the Moore Stephens Markhams Christchurch practice as a director, said the move would benefit both her team and Balance’s clients.
“Culturally it’s a great fit for both our teams and clients. Moore Stephens Markhams gives us the scale to really offer quality support to our clients and to help them grow their businesses,” she said.
Moore Stephens Markhams Christchurch Managing Director Paul Rickerby also welcomed the merger.
“We are very excited about Nicole and her team joining us,” said Paul. “Balance Accounting is a young and dynamic practice and we see a lot of synergies that will benefit both businesses and, of course, our clients and teams.”
The merger will see the Moore Stephens Markhams practice increase to a team of 44 with six directors in its new modern offices in Addington.
A full service accounting and business advisory practice, Moore Stephens Markhams Christchurch are members of Moore Stephens International, a global network of accounting practices with over 600 offices in 101 countries.
Balance Accounting Ltd is joining the Moore Stephens Markhams Christchurch business at 335 Lincoln Road, Addington on Monday, 2 December 2013.
