One of Kapiti’s most successful business women to speak at Business Breakfast
BACKGROUND ON KATHERINE CORICH:
Katherine Corich
Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce
Katherine Corich is the founder and Chair of the Sysdoc Group, a consulting practitioner business with operations in 4 regions and consultant reach in over 72 countries. Her expertise and consulting experience is in the fields of business transformation, leadership of change, process engineering, simulation based learning and cross border working.
In Sysdoc, Katherine leads global strategy and development of new markets. She is also currently launching a cloud based technology company to offer business transformation products to the global marketplace.
Katherine has led transformation programmes for IBM, ICL Fujitsu, Telecom, Vodafone, Cable and Wireless, National Australia Group, Fonterra Dairy Group and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. She has contributed to programmes for Chevron, Shell, Network Rail, Meridian Energy, Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Carbon Trust, many public sector organisations and government
ministries in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
Katherine serves on the boards of Liverpool Mayoral Development Corporation, Women in Leadership Europe and Global Women. She is an Advisor/Global Ambassador for CEISMIC, Aviva Family and Global Angels. A recipient of several awards, Katherine has been twice awarded the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. (Finance, Services & Arts (2003) and Master Entrepreneur (2010)). She won Aveeno Business Women of the Year and was a finalist in the UK National Business Awards. Under Katherine’s stewardship, Sysdoc has been winner of the Opportunity Now – Agile Organisation award, named in the top 4 most innovative consulting companies in the UK MCA awards, winner of the LearnX Best Use of Technology in Learning and GIGA gold award for best practice in Process and Knowledge Management.
She is currently working with the Sysdoc team, as one of 25 SMEs selected to work with UK Cabinet Office with the aim being to increase public sector engagement of Small to Medium Enterprise, to achieve the government target of 25% of public sector contracts being awarded to SME’s.
Katherine’s leadership of performance based philanthropy programmes, including a major current project designed to increase child protection and reduce child abuse, is ground breaking.
Katherine holds an MA in Linguistics, and qualified as a Commercial Pilot and Flight Instructor. She also holds a Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction.
