The nation’s capital gets JUCY
JUCY Rentals is opening a Wellington branch to address the increasing demand, as more tourists are using the nation’s capital as a start and finish destination.
Already one of Australasia’s fastest growing rental companies, JUCY saw the need for the extra branch as more customers were asking to pick up and drop off in the nation’s capital.
Tim Alpe, co-founder and chief JUCY-fier, says the Wellington branch was an obvious next stop on the JUCY journey in New Zealand and is excited to get the branch open.
“We are thrilled to be opening a new branch in Wellington and are really excited about JUCYfying the capital” he says.
Alpe says the ability to provide the JUCY experience to the entire country is a goal they have been working towards since the beginning.
Steve Sanderson, chief executive of Wellington Airport, says they are happy to welcome JUCY to the city.
“Wellington Airport wants to ensure the best rental operators are available to all passengers and we are happy to welcome JUCY on board. Renting a campervan directly on arrival into Wellington is a unique and innovative benefit that Jucy offers.”
The new branch is set to open in early April, and will become the 6th JUCY branch alongside two in Auckland and one in Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin. JUCY also operates branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane & Cairns and in 2012 launched into the USA with branches in Los Angeles, San Francisco & Las Vegas.
