Kiwi Discount Club members can now save up to 30% on their health insurance premiums each year by nominating a voluntary
excess of $1,000.
By way of an example a couple (Male Age 40 and Female Age 38) stand to save $13,000 in premiums over a 20 year period by
electing to take a $1,000 excess as opposed to the standard nil excess policy offered by most health insurance
companies.
Members of Kiwi Discount Club also enjoy an exclusive additional benefit. In the event of a health insurance claim in
the first two years of the policy members will receive a lump sum payment up to $1,000 from the Kiwi Discount Club to
offset the excess they would have to pay in the event of a claim.
After two years the savings made from the lower premium will go a long way to, or in many cases cover the $1,000 excess
the member would have had to pay in the event of a claim
