Andrew Johnston to Speak at 2011 Business Excellence Forum
LAS VEGAS, July 8, 2011 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --
New Zealand- based ActionCOACH will talk about Scoreboarding Your Business
Andrew Johnston has seen it all over his years as an ActionCOACH. By helping small businesses throughout New Zealand
reach their goals, he has developed a way to help any business achieve more and he will be speaking about what he has
learned at the 2011 Business Excellence Forum.
The Business Excellence Forum (http://www.actioncoach.com/businessforum2011) will be an exciting event for small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to network with and learn from
successful business people while in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. There will be a number of
outstanding speakers, including Johnston, who will present, "Scoreboarding Your Business."
Johnston has learned that many businesses don't keep a "scoreboard" of their goals and accomplishments and this makes it
much harder to both achieve and realize their goals.
"Keeping track of Key Performance Indicators in any business is a straightforward way of understanding and reaching
goals," Johnston said. "Too often businesses don't keep score of what they do or they make scoreboarding so complicated
it loses its meaning. Straightforward, simple scoreboarding can mean a lot to businesses because it helps everyone
involved understand where the company is heading."
Keeping track of everything in a business can be complicated and time consuming, but Johnston knows it is the key to
long-term success because it allows businesses to test and measure the effectiveness of everything they do and if you
can't test and measure, you can't improve.
"There is a systematic way of looking at this in relation to the strength of a given business. With any goal, you have
your target and you have what you actually did. From there you can get the variation in your goal versus the reality,
figure out what the challenges were and come up with solutions for those challenges. Nobody is perfect all the time, but
through this method any business can figure out where they are going wrong in far easier fashion than without these
steps," Johnston said.
Johnston's speech is just one presentation that will benefit those that attend the Business Excellence Forum (http://www.actioncoach.com/businessforum2011-tickets), which will be held at the world famous Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami, Florida on August 19 and 20, highlighted by
featured speakers Brad Sugars and Les Brown and sponsored by ActionCOACH, the world's number one business coaching firm.
