Online And Real Lives Converge with Innovative Ticketing Company
Wellington-based Dash Tickets continues to demonstrate its leadership in ticketing innovation this week being the first New Zealand ticketing company to launch Facebook integration for all its customers.
The full Facebook integration allows event organisers to create their Facebook event simultaneously as they lodge their event on the Dash website and allows attendees to log-on, purchase tickets and register their attendance using either their Facebook or Dash log-on.
“The importance of social media to our end-users is something we are very aware of,” said Dash Chief Executive Nick Schembri. “Increasingly, people are arranging their social lives and communicating what they are doing via social media. By offering integration, our customers only have to remember one log-on and are just one-click away from their ticket purchase.”
“It’s all about making it easier, simpler and less time-consuming.”
The feature is now active, with attendees to the Christchurch Arts Festival and Body Dance Festival expected to be some of the first to benefit when tickets go on sale in July.
