Britz Delivers a New Zealand First in Campervanning for Families
Britz Campervans is turning family holidays on their head with a New Zealand first new family-sized campervan that allows children to sit up front with the adults – an exciting innovation for Kiwi campervanning!
The Renegade is Britz’s first dual cab campervan on the market and the only one with true family-friendly features, because it lets parents and children ride together up front on their motoring adventure so families can share every moment of their journey.
The new-style campervan has been custom-made to Britz’s own specifications after company research showed customers wanted more quality time together on family holidays. “The Renegade really is unique. It means families can now experience the entire journey together and not just the end destination, which is what Britz holidays are about,” says Sharron Clark, Brand Manager for Britz New Zealand. “We’re happy to play a part in helping families reconnect while discovering New Zealand’s amazing landscapes on their campervan adventure.”
The new Renegade also has a practical edge that means safer travelling for its smallest passengers. Infant and child booster seats remain fitted in the front cabin rather than having to be removed when it’s time to make up the beds, while two reversing cameras also help keep little ones safe.
The Renegade sleeps four adults and two kids comfortably. It has three double beds, including the super king over-cab bed that transforms into twin singles. Shifting all passenger seats to the cab has allowed Britz to create more room in the campervan for a larger kitchen, lounge and dining space.
A true home-away-from-home for families, the Renegade also features a TV and DVD player, stereo with both internal and external speakers, a microwave, four-burner gas stove and all cutlery, crockery and cookware plus its own shower and toilet. In the cab there are also portable seven-inch DVD screens that can be attached to the back seat to entertain the kids and a 14 litre refrigerator to ensure easy access to snacks, whilst on the road.
Britz is also launching another vehicle in order to cater to the different needs of its market. The Fiat Trailblazer is a new campervan designed especially for couples or those last minute weekend breaks. A two berth campervan with a toilet and shower the Trailblazer makes for quick and easy pack-up-and-go travel. The Trailblazer is available for booking from 23 August and the travel from date is 1 November.
Britz specialises in family self-drive holidays. The new Renegade and Trailblazer are two of 10 different vehicles in the Britz fleet.
