Attaché Software Signs Three-Year Sponsorship Contract with Employers and Manufacturers Association (Northern) of New Zealand
Auckland, February 3, 2010 -
Attaché Software, a provider of intelligent business systems for small to medium sized enterprises (SME), has announced a three-year sponsorship contract with Employers and Manufacturers’ Association (Northern) of New Zealand.
Under the terms of the contract, Attaché Software will support the Employers and Manufacturers’ Association (Northern) of New Zealand EMA Briefing Series which are aimed at communicating business and employment issues to EMA members in a face-to-face forum format.
This year, the EMA Briefings are being staged at 23 locations from 15 February – 2 March 2010 and will focus on the pending tax reform system which most commentators suggest will have a major impact on the small to medium sized business market sector, home to the majority of the New Zealand workforce.
Mike Rich, Managing Director of Attaché Software, said, “We are delighted to support the EMA in its position as an educator and supporter of the New Zealand SME market at a time when the global economy appears to be recovering from the effects of last year’s GFC. We look forward to the positive impact that our sponsored briefings will have on the New Zealand SME sector’s ability to successfully compete and manage change.”
Attaché Software has been involved in the New Zealand market since 1981. Headquartered in Sydney, the company was founded by Kiwi-born Mike Rich and in 1999 established an Auckland based office. All Attaché products are supported locally by the company’s team of over 40 staff and consultants.
“Supporting business is what we’re all about,” said David Lowe, EMA’s Manager of Employment Relations. “Attaché makes a perfect fit with us for both its product range and service ethic that is supportive of business.”
EMA Northern is New Zealand’s largest business association serving more than 8,000 members with over 300,000 employees from Taupo North. The organisation promotes the success of business by seeking to create the most desirable environment for business and adding value through representation, knowledge and support. It has offices in Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.
The Attaché Software sponsored EMA Briefings will visit Albany, Auckland City, Greenlane East, Grafton, Hamilton, Henderson, Kaitaia, Manukau, Mangere, Mount Wellington, New Lynn, Otorohanga, Paihia, Papakura, Putaruru, Pukekohe, Rotorua, Thames, Taupo, Tauranga, Whakatane, and Whangarei.
