NetApp Appoints First NZ-Based Certified Delivery Partner For Services
AUCKLAND, New Zealand, 12 January 2009—NetApp Australia and New Zealand today announced the appointment of ViFX as its New Zealand-based Certified Delivery Partner for services.
The NetApp Certified Delivery Partner (CDP) program provides customers with NetApp solutions and services via specialist value-added partners who have been trained through NetApp. This allows customers the peace of mind of a specialist NetApp-certified provider with the flexibility of a local operation.
Scott Morris, Director of Channels for NetApp Australia and New Zealand, said, “Storage services is an area that needs a highly specialised focus, and our key objective is to provide our customers with a quality outcome. We appointed ViFX as our first CDP in New Zealand, because the ViFX team has the specific skills and knowledge to help our customers solve their technology challenges, particularly in the virtualisation space.”
Derek Leitch, Director for ViFX, said, “ViFX prides itself on being a centre of excellence for the delivery of storage and virtualisation technology services. We are dedicated to becoming an extension of the NetApp business in New Zealand and working with customers and channel partners to solve business issues.”
ViFX will engage with NetApp channel partners when the partner is selling NetApp services to a customer. ViFX employs specialists in virtualisation and data centres who can engage at several levels, from assessment of the customer’s storage network requirements, through the design phase and implementation to completion of the project.
Also working as a CDP for services for NetApp in New Zealand is Diversus Group, a NetApp services delivery specialist, which is based out of NetApp’s Australian offices.
