Re: Charlie’s & Phoenix win at NZ Juice & Beverage Awards
Charlie’s Trading Company is delighted to announce that its two brands, Charlie’s and Phoenix won four awards at the recent New Zealand Juice & Beverage Awards.
Phoenix took out the best Carbonated Water in a highly competitive and growing category. The award came as no surprise to Marketing Manager Ron Curteis who says the Phoenix water source at the Otakiri Springs is world class. “There is a trend away from imported waters driven by sustainability and we know our Phoenix Sparkling Water stacks up with the best of them”.
Charlie’s fared better than any single brand at the annual award ceremony. The Charlie’s Honest Lemonade Quencher won the ‘Fruit Drinks’ category while Charlie’s Honest Apple Juice won the ‘Short Shelf Life / Not From Concentrate’ category and the ‘Youth Choice Award’.
“We are extremely proud of the new Charlie’s packaging and the new products we are bringing to market” said CEO of Charlie’s, Stefan Lepionka. “Our Honest Apple Juice has been around for some time and is a great product, but we are particularly pleased with the success of our Quencher range of products that were inspired by old fashioned Lemonades our grannies used to make”
The NZJBA commented that “the number, quality and variety of beverages entered into this year’s awards are reflective of the one of the country’s most innovative sectors”.
“Our four awards are certainly testament to the innovation and care that goes into making great tasting high quality beverages at Charlie’s and Phoenix” said Lepionka.
