Sir Peter Blake Trust Launches Clothing Range
The Sir Peter Blake Trust has launched a range of clothing that is both a practical way for New Zealander’s to support the environment, and to raise awareness of
the Sir Peter Blake Trust. Pippa, Lady Blake, a Trustee, is enthusiastic about the concept.
Just in time for summer, the range includes tees, polo’s, merino sweaters, jackets and caps with environmental motifs and the Trust’s Southern Cross inspired logo.
The range will be exclusively supplied by Line 7, a long time supporter of the Trust.
Vicki Watson, General Manager of the Sir Peter Blake Trust says the clothing range is a great opportunity to continue the Trust’s excellent work. Averaged across the collection, Line 7 will donate ten percent of all sales from the range to the trust, and funds raised will go directly towards implementing their environmental programmes.
“Over the past few years, we have worked hard to build awareness of the Trust amongst the New Zealand people. We see the benefits of this project as twofold –
not only will it raise awareness of the Trust and its aims, but it will provide additional funds to continue our work. With summer approaching, this is a fantastic way of connecting with people as well as providing a range of practical clothing they can use while out enjoying the environment we are working so hard to protect,” says Ms Watson.
“Line 7 has supported the Trust since its inception as official clothing supplier. They also donate revenue from their marine sales. We are delighted that Line 7 has expanded their support and come on board to produce the new range of Sir Peter Blake Trust clothing range,” continues Ms Watson.
The Sir Peter Blake Trust continues Sir Peter’s work, aiming to help New Zealanders make a positive difference for the planet through activities that encourage an awareness of the marine environment. The Trust has been running for three years, running programmes such as Care for our Coast, a Youth Environment Forum and
the Antarctic Youth Ambassador.
The Sir Peter Blake Trust clothing range will be available online at www.line7.com or www.sirpeterblaketrust.org, as well as instore at Line 7’s Airport and Maritime
Museum stores. Further retail outlets are expected to be added later this year.
