Cortex for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0
29-May-07, Auckland – EMS-Cortex, an IT company with over 10 years experience in servicing telecommunications and service providers, today announced Cortex 7.0 for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 is available through the Microsoft SPLA and provides a good opportunity for hosters wishing to move into higher valued hosted services. Cortex 7.0, the latest upgrade of EMS-Cortex flagship announced recently, is a major upgrade which features a number of enhancements for Microsoft Exchange 2007, SharePoint services 3.0 and new provisioning pack for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.
Cortex v7 configures multiple CRM instances and servers to be managed and allows customers to be allocated to a CRM front-end server. Once allocated, user provisioning can be delegated to the end-customer without the need for the CRM administration tools.
Provisioning a customer with CRM becomes a much simpler process. The user administration is instantly available to the end-customer administrator. For existing providers hosting CRM, Cortex will auto-discover settings from CRM removing the need for any form of data migration exercise.
Advantages Provisioning processes are streamlined: Exchange, CRM and any other Cortex services can be set up at the same time without needing to use various administration tools. Any user updates made through CRM will be automatically detected and displayed in Cortex. Billing and SPLA reporting of CRM is simplified through standard Cortex usage reports.
Availability CRM provisioning is only available with Cortex v7.0; existing Cortex customers contact our support team on support@ems-cortex.com.
About Cortex The Cortex provisioning platform brings a new level of accessibility to the managed services market by offering a flexible and affordable option for solutions based on Microsoft Hosted Messaging and Collaboration and additional value-add applications. Cortex enables telecoms, ISPs and service providers to streamline provisioning and reduce operational costs, reduce customer churn, engage additional distribution channels and reduce time-to-market for new hosted services.
