Mailshop streamlines senior management roles to further extend market leadership in creative mail
Deidre Ross takes sole charge in consolidated General Manager role
AUCKLAND, 19 June 2006 - Mailshop, New Zealand’s leading direct and creative mail fulfilment specialist, today announced the promotion of Deidre Ross to the new position of General Manager, an overall leadership role which combines the previous GM positions of Operations with Sales & Marketing. An experienced direct marketing practitioner, the appointment of Deidre Ross to the top job signals Mailshop’s intention to consolidate its leadership in direct marketing fulfilment.
According to Deidre Ross, Mailshop focuses primarily on the project management of creative mail campaigns. “At Mailshop, we recognise that you can’t dabble in direct mail. By its very nature, direct marketing demands rapid turnarounds of highly creative and increasingly complex mail packages. This necessitates an advanced set of skills, a focused team ethic and the ability to invent and innovate when circumstances dictate.”
Deidre Ross added, “We work closely with our clients, earning a justified reputation as the guardian of their creative concept. I am delighted to be leading the outstanding team of direct mail specialists at Mailshop and I look forward to continuing to produce eye-catching work.”
Since joining Mailshop in 2001, Ms Ross has held a variety of senior roles within the company, most recently General Manager of Sales and Marketing.
